A Botika alternative where the garment stays the garment

Botika turns flat lays and mannequin shots into on-model photos with AI models. Truest Lens covers the same need from the other end: the whole listing set for each style, a model of your own that you reuse, and the garment held to your product photos — buttons, prints, cut and colour.

Botika and Truest Lens, side by side

The short version: Botika centres on the on-model shot and offers human retouching on top. Truest Lens centres on the full set and on keeping the garment unchanged — fully self-serve, with nothing to wait for.

What Botika is, fairly

Botika is a fashion-only AI studio: upload a flat lay or a mannequin shot and it returns the garment on one of its AI models, with backgrounds to choose from and video generation alongside. It is aimed at brands, and its distinguishing extra is people — on annual plans, its team reviews and retouches images when a result needs a human pass.

If that review loop is what you are paying for, it is a real feature, not a flaw. The comparison here is about fit, not about which tool is better in the abstract.

Where Truest Lens differs

The headline difference is what the tool promises to hold still. A listing lives or dies on the garment being the garment: a button moved, a print straightened, a cut made slimmer are not improvements — they are defects that come back as returns. In Truest Lens the garment is never redescribed in words. Your product photos carry it, and a reference photo carries only the picture around it.

The second difference is the unit of work. Botika’s centre of gravity is the on-model photograph. A style on a marketplace needs more than that: the flat lay, the ghost mannequin shot, the fabric close-up, the on-model pictures. Truest Lens generates them as one set from one submission.

And the model is yours. Instead of renting consistency from a shared library, you create one AI model — from a short persona, or from an authorised person — and that same person wears everything you sell, season after season.

When Botika is the better choice

Choose Botika if you want a human retoucher in the loop and are happy to trade turnaround for it, if you need AI fashion video — Truest Lens makes stills only — or if its model library already contains exactly the look your brand shoots with.

Truest Lens is self-serve on purpose: no account manager, no review rounds, no queue. Sellers who would rather have a person check every image will feel that difference, in both directions.

Switching over

The flat lays and mannequin shots you already feed Botika are the same product photos Truest Lens starts from. Add a reference photo for each kind of shot you want — the built-in Discover library covers the standard ones — and create your model once if you shoot on-model.

Billing changes shape rather than size: instead of a subscription with a credit allotment, you buy a credit pack when a drop is coming, and unused credits simply stay in your account. They never expire.

Frequently asked questions

Why do sellers look for a Botika alternative?

Usually one of three reasons: they want the whole listing set rather than on-model shots alone, they want a model that belongs to their store instead of a shared library, or they would rather buy credit packs than keep a subscription alive between seasons. This page exists for those three.

Will my garments look the same as in my photos?

That is the design centre of the tool. The garment is read from your product photos — front, back, and a close-up wherever a detail is small — and placed into the look your reference photo sets. Print direction, button placement, seams and colour are held as photographed.

Does Truest Lens generate video, like Botika?

No. Truest Lens makes still product photographs only. If video is a requirement, Botika or a traditional shoot covers it and Truest Lens does not.

Can I keep using the same model for every product?

Yes — that is the default way to work. Create the model once and select it on each submission; the same person appears across your catalogue.

Do credits expire?

No. Credit packs are one-time purchases, the oldest credits are used first, and there is no subscription and no renewal. Current packs are listed on the pricing page.
